Our Design Process
We engage with our clients to determine the exact scope of requirements, we offer a free on-site consultation to fully understand the project brief.
We provide a quotation outlining the various areas included in the project scope and list the design services associated to each area. This allows our Clients to decide which services they feel will best suit their budget.
On appointment we provide a concept design mood board indicating the look & feel for the space including space planning together with an estimated budget. This enables our Clients to see the proposed design direction and allows us to ensure that our proposed design is aligned to our Clients’ expectations and vision for their space.
On approval of the conceptual design phase, we embark on the design presentation whereby we provide a more comprehensive design package. This presentation typically includes digitally rendered colour layout plans, furniture selections, soft finishings and photorealistic computer-generated visuals of the proposed design.
On agreement of the design we compile documentation which includes all working drawings necessary for the execution of the building works. Where applicable this includes elevations indicating all fixtures and finishes for the appointed contractor to accurately install these on site. Electrical, lighting and ceiling layouts are also provided where necessary and detailed drawings of all custom designed furniture and built-in units are submitted to the selected joiners and shopfitters.
Lighting schedules, furniture specification schedules and finishes schedules are provided for the purpose of accurate costing and procurement. All documentation is handed to the Client on completion of the project.
We manage all manufacturers to ensure the design elements are of a high standard and executed to the correct specification. We oversee the building contractor and other subcontractors under our scope of works giving our Clients peace of mind during their space transformation.
On close out of the project we offer snagging services which entail checking of all design elements under our scope and ensuring the finished product meets ours and our Clients’ expectations. Any imperfections are then rectified ensuring our Clients are fully satisfied with the completion of their project.
